Trading Account:

• Trading Account एक financial statement होता है जो किसी business की gross profit या gross loss को calculate करने के लिए तैयार किया जाता है।
• यह account केवल goods के buying और selling से संबंधित transactions को record करता है।
• इसे एक accounting year के अंत में बनाया जाता है, usually Profit & Loss Account से पहले।
• Trading account के debit side में purchases, opening stock और direct expenses record होते हैं।
• Credit side में sales और closing stock show किया जाता है।
• Formula: Gross Profit = Sales + Closing Stock – (Opening Stock + Purchases + Direct Expenses)
• अगर purchases और expenses sales से ज्यादा हों तो gross loss होता है।
• यह account यह बताता है कि business ने अपने main business (trading) से कितना profit या loss कमाया।
• यह business की operating efficiency को analyze करने में मदद करता है।
• Trading Account में केवल direct expenses (जैसे carriage inward, wages, freight) ही शामिल होते हैं, indirect नहीं।

Trading Account किसी भी business के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण financial statement है, जो यह दर्शाता है कि goods को खरीदने और बेचने में business को कितना profit या loss हुआ। यह final accounts की शुरुआत का पहला step होता है।

Profit and Loss Account (P&L Account)

• Profit and Loss Account (P&L Account) एक financial statement होता है जो किसी business की net profit या net loss को calculate करता है।
• यह account पूरे accounting year के indirect incomes और indirect expenses को show करता है।
• P&L Account को Trading Account के बाद prepare किया जाता है।
• इस account में वे सभी खर्चे और income शामिल होते हैं जो व्यापार की daily activities से indirectly जुड़े होते हैं।
• Debit side में सभी indirect expenses (जैसे rent, salaries, depreciation) को लिखा जाता है।
• Credit side में सभी indirect incomes (जैसे interest received, commission received) को लिखा जाता है।
• Formula: Net Profit = Gross Profit + Indirect Incomes – Indirect Expenses
• अगर indirect expenses ज्यादा हों तो business को Net Loss होता है।
• Net profit या loss को अंत में Capital Account में transfer किया जाता है।
• P&L Account किसी business की actual profitability दिखाता है और future planning में मदद करता है।

Profit and Loss Account यह बताता है कि business ने पूरे साल में अपने operations से कितना लाभ या हानि कमाया। यह business performance को evaluate करने का एक important tool होता है।

Different between Trading and PLA Account in Hindi

Trading Account और Profit & Loss Account दोनों ही business की performance analyze करने में मदद करते हैं, लेकिन दोनों का scope अलग होता है। Trading Account केवल goods के लेन-देन पर केंद्रित होता है जबकि P&L Account पूरे व्यवसाय की income और खर्चों का पूरा overview देता है।

Balance Sheet of a Company

• Balance Sheet एक financial statement होती है जो किसी company की financial position को एक विशेष तारीख (usually year-end) पर दिखाती है।
• यह तीन मुख्य components पर आधारित होती है: Assets = Liabilities + Shareholders' Equity
• Balance Sheet दो भागों में divide होती है –
• (a) Assets
• (b) Liabilities & Equity
• Assets वह चीज़ें होती हैं जिनका उपयोग business future benefits के लिए करता है (जैसे cash, building, machinery).
• Liabilities वे obligations होती हैं जिन्हें company को चुकाना होता है (जैसे loans, creditors).
• Equity यानी owner's funds (जैसे capital, retained earnings) होते हैं।
• यह company की net worth और solvency को analyze करने में मदद करता है।
• Balance Sheet में किसी भी तरह का income या expense record नहीं किया जाता – यह सिर्फ values को एक निश्चित समय पर show करता है।
• इसे हमेशा एक specific date पर बनाया जाता है, जैसे: "As on 31st March 2025".
• यह investors, creditors, और management को company की financial health को समझने में मदद करता है।
